Garden Room, Church of the Wayfarer, 7th & Lincoln, Carmel

The Friends of the Harrison Memorial Library is holding an Afternoon Tea and Literary Program, featuring author Kathryn Gualtieri.  The local journalist, historian, and author will discuss her most recent novel, The Laundryman's Daughter.  She will explain how her passion for history, as well as her experiences reporting for the Carmel Pine Cone, led her to write a series of mystery novels set in Carmel and the Central Coast in the 1920s, featuring her remarkable sleuth, Nora Finnegan.  Kathryn will be joined in her presentation by Gayle Ortiz, mystery writer and owner of Gayle's Bakery in Capitola.
