The Carmel Public Library
Foundation provides supplemental funds for Harrison Memorial Library
that will ensure free library service in perpetuity for the
communities of Monterey, San Benito and Santa Cruz
counties.
Your generous contributions make the following
possible each year:
- The purchase of more than
4,800 books, videos, periodicals and audio books.
- Print and electronic
resources used to answer over 24,000 reference questions.
- The library’s online
catalog.
- Public access to the
Internet.
- Books and craft supplies
used by more than 1,300 children at Storytime Programs.

- Make a contribution to the Carmel Public
Library Foundation.
We accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, and gifts of
stock.
- Make a contribution to the General
Endowment Fund or the Children's Reading Endowment Fund. The growth from these
funds will provide money for the library for decades to come.
- Include the Carmel Public Library
Foundation in your estate plans.
- Attend Special Events throughout the year featuring noted
authors and other speakers of interest.
