Borrowing Guidelines
All circulating items are checked out for 2 weeks. You may check out 15 items per card, including:
Audio Cassettes - 10 per card
Videos and DVDs - 10 per card
Magazines - 10 per card
Newspapers - 5 per card
Renewing Materials
Magazines, newspapers, videos and DVD's may not be renewed. All other library materials can be renewed twice.
You can renew books through our website - www.hm-lib.org
- with your library card and your PIN number, or by
phone. For the Main Library call 624-4629, for Youth
Services call 624-4664. Please note: if you have fines
totaling more than $3.00 you will need to come to the
library and pay your fines in order to renew.
Returning Materials
All materials may be returned to Harrison Memorial Library or Park Branch. Outside Book Drops are located behind the Harrison Library at the corner of Sixth and Lincoln Street , and in the Park Branch side parking lot.
Overdue Charges
The overdue charge for all library materials is .25
per item per day.
The maximum overdue charge is $5 per item. Borrowing privileges are suspended when a borrower has unreturned library materials or outstanding overdue charges.
You are responsible for all items borrowed with your card. If your card is lost or stolen, please report it to the library. If an item is not returned or is returned in damaged condition, the borrower will be charged a replacement charge plus a processing fee.
