2013 Local History Lecture Series
The lecture series begins in January each year and admission to
each of the lectures is free and open to the public. Seating is
available on a first-come, first-served basis. The
Local History Lecture Series is funded by the Frank and Eva Buck Foundation,
and Robert and Lacy Buck, whose generosity has made this popular community program
possible for twenty-one years.
JANUARY: Big Sur Land Trust
Join George Somero for the
first Local History Lecture of the season for a discussion of conservation
in Monterey Country, the victories and heroes of the past, and challenges
for the future.

and is FREE and open to the public.
